The person I have been closest to for the longest
...My husband :) This is a flashback from our Honeymoon in 2004.

Cast of my favorite show Grey's Anatomy.

My favorite night
... was the one my son was born. As a first time mom it was an emotional night to say the least. Happy, excited, relieved I delivered a baby, scared if I could raise him correctly, tired,

I love this pic and am glad my friend stole this shot! This is right after he is born.
He is four now and my little helper!

My favorite memory
...The day I was married to my Sweetheart, my better half, my best friend.  10.05.04

The person I would love to trade places with for a day.
I  know it says person...but, I am changing things up a bit. Besides she thinks she is a person anyways. Her name is Bella Luna and she is our Basset Hound. Here she is laying on the bed when we stayed at the Sheraton in SLC.
Her life is lived eating, sleeping, playing and being loved on and everything revolving around her.
My kind of Day!

My most treasured possession.
..my Scriptures. I don't read them nearly enough but, I love them! It is who I am, they define me and help me see who I really am.

A picture that makes you laugh.
We had a chair designated for the dogs to lay in in the family room. It had a slip cover on it making it easy to throw in the washing machine. Well, one night Bella was sound asleep in her chair and Cleo decided it was her turn to have the chair. She spent about 20 minutes trying to persuade Bella to surrender the chair. Cleo finally realized she was out of luck having the chair all to her self so she hopped up and made herself comfortable. {not sure how comfortable this really is} But, she fell asleep. Ah, Basset hounds, they are so entertaining.

the person who has gotten you through the most

the person you do the most messed up things with

A picture of something I hate...
I am not a complete snow HATER! Just a snow in APRIL, I am so tired of being cooped up inside hater! So, why, you ask do I live in Idaho? Not my first choice, but, where both of our families are. Except my lil' sis that escaped back to the 'valley of the sun' where we grew up.

A picture of something I love...
Well, duh, the opposite of what I hate... the ocean! I remember spending time at the beach when I was little visiting my Grandparents in Long Beach. Both of my parents grew up in SoCal and I was born there. I have many fun memories with my parents and two of my siblings playing in the water.
When I see pics like these I dream of laying in the warm sand soaking up sunrays or building sand castles with my little ones.
This September I will finally have the chance to see this dream through...and I can't wait!!!

Picture of my favorite band or artist...
To say that I LOVE this band would be an understatement. Sad to say that I have never been to one of their concerts either. But, September baby, they are coming to SLC!!!!

a picture of someone I could not picture my life without...
these three little rascals! They are my joy and I couldn't imagine one second without them in my life. I pray that I will be able to see all three of them get married, have children and enjoy their life to the fullest.

A picture of something you want to do before you die
Yes, I am crazy, but, I want to experience this like you wouldn't believe!!! Hopefully one day soon! The chances are increasing as I am losing all the baby weight my little lovelies have left me.

A picture of someone who inspires you.

Walt Disney! He inspired (s) so many people. But, I picked him because he had a dream, a huge dream, and he made it happen. He showed that our dreams can become realities with hard work, determination and a little pixie dust.

something that has made a huge impact on your life recently
My Church had General Conference the first weekend in April. Each one seems to be filled with answers to many questions. But, this one was unique. Maybe because the hubs and I had to speak in Sacrament meeting the week before on the importance of Conference. Whatever the reason each talk seemed to fill in blanks that I was looking to fill. And even some I wasn't looking for. I am truly blessed to be able to listen to a prophets voice and to be able to know what changes I need to make in each of my roles.

A picture of your biggest insecurity.
My son snapped this with my phone when I wasn't paying attention.
This is it!!! Being over weight! I hate it, it drives me nuts, I definitely don't want me looking like this in any form of print.
Yes, I had three kids in four years and YES I am doing something to lose it all as well.

A picture of you when you were little.

A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel.
Who wouldn't want to travel to Pairs? I think going there is every little girls dream and it is still mine.
To walk along the Sien. and  Champs-Elysées. to see le Louvre and the Notre Dame.
and of course the Tour d'Effile.

A picture of something you wish you could forget.

I don't want to forget about this, more wish it never happened!
I can remeber exactly where I was the morning of this horrific tragedy. My parents had recently sold their home and my mom and I were living in it because she had to finish up her 2 weeks notice with her job and my dad and brothers and sisters went ahead to the new home.
My mom and I watched the story unfold as we got ready for work. I waited until the very last second I could to head to my car, turn on the radio and listen as I headed in. As soon as I got there I ran inside only to find the owner of the store at the computer in a very somber, worried mood. I asked him if he was doing ok and he wasn't. His daughters were visiting New York City and were supposed to be visiting the Towers when the attacks happened.
He hadn't heard from his girls and didn't know if they were there or not.
It wasn't until later that night that he got word they had decided to visit some other sites that morning.
This is not an event I want to forget because it changed our country and the people in it. I do want to forget the horrible hate and anger that would posses a person to articulate such hatred in this manner.
Yet, it exists!
I am greatful to the men and women who protect us from this happening again by giving up, in some cases, their lives, so you and I can be protected.
